Opportunity Meeting

The Opportunity Meeting is an Alan/Anthony exclusive: a short-term, results-driven consultation that is guaranteed to:

  • Identify one new product or service concept worth developing further; or
  • Diagnose one major customer creation problem and suggest solutions.

Alan/Anthony provides the Opportunity Meeting as a low-risk way for you to engage a consultant.  Working together, we can determine whether your company faces opportunities and challenges that deserve serious attention, and provide you with an objective assessment and suggestions for action.  The rest is up to you.

DeliverablesThe Opportunity Meeting provides immediate verbal feedback on the day(s) of the meeting(s) and a written report detailing:

  • An overview of your business within its competitive environment
  • Areas of opportunity worth taking to the next level of development
  • Weaknesses and competitive threats that need to be addressed

Example.  The client was a venture-funded company with a software solution for improving the productivity of any process that involves mailing a bill or notice to a customer and receiving payment or other response in return.  The company had recently purchased two firms in related businesses: one a general-purpose, high-volume print-and-mail shop, the other an ASP providing a customer information and billing system to regulated industries.  The client's questions included: What were its current competitors doing?  What new competitors might it face, given its expanded scope?  How could the company structure itself most effectively for growth and create, from the different companies, a sum greater than the parts?  Our confidential report proposed a step-by-step integration of the business units and a marketing strategy to maximize cross-selling opportunities and eliminate the potential for customer confusion.
